Starting off the new year with beautiful fog on the Bedford waterfront.
This was one of the most memorable evenings of my life, and one I struggled the most to photograph early in my time with this hobby.
Remnants of Hurricane Larry were offshore, far enough that we were completely unaffected weather and wind wise, but with a huge swell forecast in the range of 16 feet. We took a drive out to the coast and hiked the cliffs overlooking Lawrencetown Beach. We didn’t see 16 ft waves, maybe more like 9, but the surfers were out and the sun was setting and everything kicked off. The view for the dozen or so of us on the cliffs was nothing short of spectacular, and these photos do not do it justice.
