We missed the absolutely epic solar storm the night before, something I’ll regret for a good long while. However the following night forecast still looked pretty good, so we packed up and went out roaming around for a break in the clouds. Burnt Coat Head was where we ended up and I was able to capture this with a long exposure. Not much was visible to the eye. It got even better later that night but we were long gone unfortunately. Aurora photography requires detachment from sleep I haven’t yet perfected.
